Angie M.Angie M.

is the office manager and has worked with Rix Pediatric Dentistry since 1999.  She has a BA degree from Shorter College.  Angie is married and has one son.   She enjoys spending time with her family, cheering her son on in sports and playing with her dogs. 

She thinks the best thing about her job is the loving, caring atmosphere.

 

MarciaMarcia

is a dental/surgical assistant and has worked with Rix Pediatric Dentistry since the practice opened in 1993.  She is a certified BLS Instructor and a First Responder.  She has been married for 35 years, has two children, and three amazing grandchildren. 

At the age of 12, Marcia was called into the Mission Field.  For many of her young years she Volunteered and worked State Side.  For the last 20 years, she has traveled around the world many times leading Medical Missions, Building Missions and Teaching in Third World Countries. 

Marcia is the Bagpiper for the Calhoun/Gordon County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard.  She also loves Bass Fishing in her Wilderness Ride 115 Fishing Kayak.

is the patient and appointment coordinator.  She has been employed with Rix Pediatric Dentistry since 1996.  She is married and has a daughter and a son.  She enjoys spending time with her family.

She thinks the best things about her job are the friendships and the Christian environment.
 

Angie J.

Angie J.

is a dental/surgical assistant. She has worked with Rix Pediatric Dentistry since 1999.  She is certified in oral radiology and completed her expanded duties training in March 2002.  She is married to Chuck and they have a son, Chase and a daughter, McKenna.  She enjoys spending time with her family and making memories with her kids. She is active with her church and youth group.  She loves music and movies.

She loves working at Rix Pediatric Dentistry because of the supportive, family atmosphere.

is a dental hygienist. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and has worked at Rix Pediatric Dentistry since July 1998. She is married  and has two children. She is active in her church, loves singing in the choir and working with the youth group and sign team.  She enjoys spending time with her family.

She loves working with children and feels that being a hygienist lets her give back to her community.

is a dental hygienist.  She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in June 1998 and began working with Dr. Rix upon graduation.

She is married to Jason and has three boys.  They attend Flint Hill Baptist Church where she works the Awana progam.  She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and going to her sons' sporting events.

She is blessed to have a job she loves.  There is never a dull moment working with children.

Jeanie

Jeanie (“Granna”)

is Dr. Rix’s mom! She is a multi-tasker at the office, providing assistance in both the business and clinical areas. She is our #1 hand-holder and moral support giver for our patients. She has worked at the practice since February 2002. She has been married over fifty years to Sam. In addition to her daughter, she has a son, Shane, who is an engineer in Tennessee. She enjoys her four grandchildren and spends as much time with them as possible. She is active at church, loves to travel and is a fan of southern gospel music.
